Marion specialises in corporate and commercial litigation, tax disputes, class actions, insurance litigation, franchise disputes, corporate and personal insolvency.

 

She has a wide range of experience acting for clients in leading cases before the Supreme Court of Queensland, Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.

Marion was also the recipient of the Toni Dick Memorial Award for outstanding community service in the legal profession. She is devoted to achieving the best legal and commercial solutions for clients.

  • disputes arising under the Australian Consumer Law and Corporations Act;
  • director and shareholder disputes;
  • application for statutory order of review of a Minister’s decision;
  • advising and acting for and against government departments in taxation and insolvency matters;
  • advising insolvency appointees, creditors and directors in corporate and personal insolvency matters; and
  • conduct of insolvency litigation including pursuing and defending voidable transaction claims.
