With broad experience in the real estate, planning and commercial space, I am able to offer holistic, practical and innovative advice to my clients.

Paul provides advice to property developers and private clients requiring resolution to town planning issues.

He has varied experience in property projects including resorts, airports, mixed use residential, flat land subdivisions, multi level residential apartments and commercial buildings.

Paul provides guidance on front end projects requiring legal advice from a town planning perspective. This includes advising on aspects such as variation of scheme, material change of use applications including both code and impact assessable applications and providing opinions on the application of the current planning legislation.

  • applicant appeals and submitter appeals to the Planning and Environment Court and the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Queensland;
  • specialised leases including marinas;
  • judicial review applications in relation to local government decisions pursuant to Planning Act and Acquisition of Land Act;
  • volumetric leases;
  • property development agreements including joint venture agreements, master agreements, development/project management agreements, agency agreements, sale and purchase contracts; and
  • acquisitions of Brisbane CBD buildings, greenfield sites, mixed use residential, commercial and industrial developments, resort projects, sub-regional shopping centres and supa centres (bulky goods).
